The Journey of the Man...

JOSEPH J BAEZ was 'bitten by the theater Bug' when he attended his FIRST Professional Show at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia called Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Since that performance, Joseph was hooked.
His theatrical debut came during his freshman year of high school performing the roles of "Radio Operator Bob McCaffrey" and "an Islander" in South Pacific. He continued to perform throughout his high school career playing such iconic roles as "Max Detweiler" in The Sound of Music and "Jack" in Into the Woods.
Joseph graduated High School and ventured to New York City's 'forgotten borough': Staten Island, where he pursued a BA in Musical Theatre at Wagner College. He performed in their productions of The Who's Tommy (Ensemble) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Judah).
After leaving Wagner College, Joseph found himself moving to Charlotte, NC! If you were to ask, he would tell you that Charlotte was where his professional career began. He performed among the many Fringe companies in town, which helped him experience the many different positions of the theatre world. He was grateful when the theatre community awarded and nominated him for a few of the shows he was a part of in "the Queen City".
From Charlotte, Joseph began his 'Gypsy' life that he is still living, traveling the United States performing in Regional Theatre, Dinner Theatre, Theme Parks and anywhere there is a stage. He has ventured outside the borders of the US to Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and even as far as Asia. He truly became a World traveler.
He looks forward to what the future has in store for him and where the next adventure may lead!
